Light feeders, covered tray

PEVU feeders differ from the base PEV in one detail — the tray is enclosed by a cover (the "U" suffix in the model name), which protects the material and the work area from dust and precipitation and, where needed, seals off the process section. Everything else is the same: an electromagnetic VEM-L1-L3 drive with no rotating parts, smoothly adjustable from zero to maximum from the control cabinet.

The line covers 6 sizes with a capacity of 6 to 50 m³/h at a tray width of 180 to 500 mm, a lump size of up to 90 mm, and a feeder mass of 32 to 300 kg. This design suits materials that produce a fine dusting fraction (cement, flour, lime, mineral powders), contain odorous components, or where the installation is indoors with air-quality requirements or outdoors and needs weather protection.

The cover is removable or has inspection hatches — the exact access arrangement for maintenance and cleaning is specified for your task based on the material's properties and how often it needs checking. An abrasion-resistant lining is available for abrasive materials, same as on the open-tray design.

If dust containment and sealing are not critical for your task, an open-tray PEV is simpler and cheaper to build over the same capacity range.

Like the open-tray feeders, PEVU units are mounted on vibration isolators sized for the specific model's mass and run on a 380 V, 50 Hz supply through a control unit.
