In grain handling and food processing, what matters most isn't throughput capacity but the precise metering of small to medium volumes of bulk material: grain, flour, sugar, cereals, feed mix. Flour and fine bulk material need dust containment for sanitary and fire-safety reasons (dust-air mixtures can be explosive) — for such lines, the PEVU covered-tray design is available and can be sealed to the rest of the process equipment.
For food production, check with our engineers about the tray material and food-contact compliance — a stainless steel tray can be supplied where required. This isn't part of the standard configuration and is specified when the order is placed.
