PEVNM feeders are a compact special-design variant of the light line: 4 sizes with a capacity of 4 to 16 m³/h, a tray width of 200 to 360 mm, and a mass of 32 to 135 kg. The "NM" suffix marks a non-standard modification of the base PEV design — altered dimensions, tray shape, or mounting points for a specific customer task where a standard PEV or PEVU does not fit the layout.
The drive is the same electromagnetic VEM-L1-L2 used on the smaller models of the base line, so the operating principle, capacity control, and control-unit requirements are unchanged from standard feeders. What differs is the tray and mounting design, adapted to a tight footprint, a non-standard loading point, or retrofitting into an existing line.
This design is used when upgrading existing equipment, where a new feeder must fit into the footprint of an old one without reworking the supporting structure, and in lab and pilot setups with non-standard layout requirements. Since every task here is by definition non-standard, the final parameters of a specific unit are agreed individually.
If a standard open- or covered-tray PEV fits your layout, it will be cheaper and faster to build than a special-design unit.
Despite its non-standard geometry, a PEVNM is fully compatible with the standard ШУВ/БУВ control unit range — a retrofit needs no rewiring or control-unit replacement. Vibration isolators for the new unit are sized afresh for the changed mass and mounting points, even when the feeder itself takes the place of an existing one in the process line.
