VEM vibro-drives generate the oscillation for PEV feeders and for custom designs built around an electromagnetic drive. The lineup splits into two rows: VEM-L1-L4 for light feeders (tray plus material up to a few hundred kilograms) and VEM-T1-T4 for heavy duty, where the largest models handle a tray-plus-material mass of several tonnes.
A drive is sized on a single parameter — the combined mass of the tray and the material on it — which must not exceed the "max. tray mass" figure for the chosen model. Where a drive is already paired with a catalog feeder, that pairing is shown on the model's own page; for a custom design, just check the mass against the table below.
Like the feeders, VEM drives must always run through a control unit — direct mains connection is not allowed. More on control units on the ШУВ / БУВ page.
