The PEVF 950/370х2500-90 is the extended model of the 950 mm range: a 2500 mm trough at up to 90 m³/h with a lump size up to 250 mm. It differs from the shorter models in coil current of up to 13 A and voltage of 0–310 V instead of 0–300 V, and in a mass of 1700 kg. Dimensions are within 2820×1180×1100 mm. The bottom-mounted VEM-T2 drive runs from a 380 V, 50 Hz supply.

Where it is used

Carrying coarse rock up to 250 mm two and a half metres out when the receiving equipment stands to one side of the bin. The reach is half a metre more than the two-metre model gives.
Feeding a crusher at a processing plant at up to 90 m³/h with a long section for levelling the material layer. The long trough also smooths out uneven discharge from the bin.
Stations where supporting steelwork runs between the bin outlet and the next machine and a short trough will not fit. Routing around it with the trough beats relocating the receiving equipment.
Working under a large-capacity bin where both reach and heavy-series robustness matter at 1700 kg.

Questions and answers

Why are current and voltage higher than on the short models of the range?

Its spec table gives coil current up to 13 A and voltage 0–310 V against 12 A and 0–300 V on the 1500 and 2000 mm models. It follows from the longer trough and is taken into account when selecting the control cabinet.

What are the mass and dimensions?

1700 kg excluding vibration isolators and the control unit, with dimensions within 2820×1180×1100 mm.

When choose the 3000 mm model instead?

When another half-metre of reach is needed. But the PEVF 950/390х3000-90 is markedly heavier — 2600 kg against 1700 kg — and needs a VEM-T4 drive with current up to 16 A.
