The PEVF 500/300х1500-50 has an open trough of 500 × 1500 mm and throughput up to 50 m³/h at a lump size of 90 mm. Within the light-duty open-trough group it is the only model of the PEVF series. The bottom-mounted ВЭМ-Л4 drive runs from a 380 V, 50 Hz supply with coil voltage 0–300 V and coil current no more than 9 A. Mass is 400 kg, dimensions within 1750×720×840 mm.

Where it is used

Feeding crushed stone and gravel up to 90 mm at up to 50 m³/h, carrying it about a metre and a half from the bin outlet.
Feeding a conveyor on an aggregates line that needs both a high flow rate and a moderate trough length.
Working in a station where loading is uneven and the feeder has to even out the stream before the next piece of equipment.
Installing into an existing frame with roughly 400 kg of margin — without stepping up to the heavy series at over a tonne. That avoids reworking the supports and moving to a different equipment class altogether.

Questions and answers

How does a PEVF in this group differ from a PEV?

By its spec table this model has the same supply parameters, the same ВЭМ-Л4 drive and the same bottom drive position as neighbouring ПЭВ models of the same width. What differs is the combination of trough length and flow: 1500 mm at 50 m³/h and 400 kg.

What lump size is permissible?

No more than 90 mm, as on all 500 mm wide models. For lumps up to 120 mm you need 600 mm width, and for 160 mm, 700 mm.

What are the feeder's dimensions?

Within 1750×720×840 mm at a mass of 400 kg excluding vibration isolators and the control unit.
