The PEVF 1200/550х2500-150 is the heaviest model of the 1200 mm range: 2600 kg with a 1200 × 2500 mm trough and throughput up to 150 m³/h. Lump size is up to 320 mm. The bottom-mounted VEM-T4 drive runs at 0–315 V — the only one in the range with that upper limit — with coil current up to 12 A. Dimensions are within 3260×1530×1420 mm: both the longest and the tallest among the 1200 mm wide feeders.

Where it is used

A receiving bin taking discharge from heavy tippers, where the feeder absorbs the impact of large lumps and has to run continuously.
Feeding a crusher at 150 m³/h in a station built for heavy equipment, where margin on mass and structural stiffness is not a constraint.
Discharging rock and ore at lump sizes up to 320 mm with two and a half metres of reach from the bin outlet.
Operating at a mining plant with the trough fully loaded, where lighter models of the range would be working at their structural limit. Stiffness margin matters more here than saving on mass, which is why this version of the range is chosen.

Questions and answers

Why is coil voltage 315 V here when neighbouring models use 310 V?

That is what its spec table states: 0–315 V against 0–310 V for the rest of the 1200 mm range, with coil current no more than 12 A. It has to be taken into account when selecting the control cabinet.

What justifies the 2600 kg mass?

The mass comes from the VEM-T4 drive and the structure built around it. If 1700 kg is sufficient for the station, the same 1200 × 2500 mm trough and the same 150 m³/h are available as the PEVF 1200/340х2500-150 with a VEM-T3 drive.

What dimensions should be allowed?

Within 3260×1530×1420 mm — the largest in the 1200 mm range in both length and height. Room for vibration isolators and access to the bottom drive are additional.
