The ПЭВ 500/300х1800-30 has an open trough of 500 × 1800 mm and a maximum throughput of 30 m³/h with a lump size up to 90 mm. It sits in the middle of the range: shorter than the two-metre model and longer than the 1600 mm one at the same throughput. The ВЭМ-Л4 drive is bottom-mounted, supply 380 V, 50 Hz, coil voltage 0–300 V, current up to 9 A. Mass is 390 kg, dimensions within 2040×720×790 mm.

Where it is used

Carrying material up to 90 mm from under a bin about 1.8 metres clear, when 1600 mm is no longer enough and there is nowhere to put the two-metre model.
Feeding a conveyor with an intermediate settling section ahead of a weighing station, so material arrives in an even layer rather than in slugs.
Supplying a process line with aggregates at 30 m³/h in continuous operation through the shift.
A transfer point that has to bridge the gap between the bin outlet and the receiving equipment without adding a separate short conveyor to the scheme.

Questions and answers

How does it differ from the 1600 and 2000 mm versions?

Only in trough length and, consequently, mass: 1800 mm and 390 kg against 1600 mm and 290 kg (which uses a ВЭМ-Л3 drive) and 2000 mm and 400 kg. Throughput of 30 m³/h and the 90 mm lump size are the same on all three.

What drive and supply does it use?

A bottom-mounted ВЭМ-Л4 drive, supply 380 V, 50 Hz, coil voltage 0–300 V and coil current no more than 9 A.

What dimensions should be allowed for?

No more than 2040×720×790 mm, plus room for vibration isolators and access to the drive beneath the trough.
