The ПЭВ 180/100х600-6 is the narrowest open-trough feeder in the range: 180 mm wide and 600 mm long. Maximum throughput is 6 m³/h and lump size is limited to 36 mm — a lower ceiling than any other model in the group. Mass is just 32 kg excluding vibration isolators and the control unit, with dimensions within 760×300×290 mm. The ВЭМ-Л1 drive is bottom-mounted, coil current up to 1.5 A, coil voltage 0–250 V.

Where it is used

Delivering fine material up to 36 mm in a narrow stream — onto the belt of a weigh feeder barely a hand wide, where a broad flow would have to be split.
Supplying a small process vessel for which even 15 m³/h would be excessive and would lead to overfilling.
Working as part of a test rig or pilot plant: at 32 kg the feeder is installed without a crane and moved by two people.
Feeding abrasive sand or screenings where what matters is not throughput but an even thin stream and the ability to come up smoothly from zero to 6 m³/h.

Questions and answers

Why is lump size limited to 36 mm?

The limit comes from the 180 mm trough width. At that width a lump larger than 36 mm tends to hang up and bridge. For material up to 50 mm use models 250–300 mm wide; for 90 mm, 500 mm wide.

Can this feeder be used for metering?

Output adjusts smoothly from zero to 6 m³/h through coil voltage of 0–250 V via a control cabinet or unit. For weigh-based metering the feeder works alongside weighing equipment, which provides the setpoint.

What are its dimensions and mass?

Dimensions within 760×300×290 mm and a mass of 32 kg excluding vibration isolators and the control unit — the lightest of the open-trough feeders.
