We build the feeders, drives and control devices ourselves: our own workshop, our own machine park and our own staff. Below is how production is organised, the stages every unit goes through, and what happens to it before shipment.

Workshop and machine park

Production is in-house, with our own machine park: milling and turning work, cutting — everything needed to build a feeder and its drive is done on site. The staff are our own and hold the attestations required of them.

Assembly and installation follow our own developed technology, and every unit has a full set of working drawings. That is what makes it repeatable to build both catalogue models and designs engineered for a specific duty.

Manufacturing stages

The sequence is standard and logical, each stage resting on the one before:

  1. Design and calculation. The structure and parameters are worked out for the duty.
  2. Purchase of materials and delivery to the shop.
  3. Preliminary assembly on jigs with preliminary welding. The jigs fix the geometry of the assembly before the welds become permanent.
  4. Full welding of the structure once the geometry is confirmed.
  5. Fixing.
  6. Manufacture of springs, coils and drives and of whatever else the particular unit requires.
  7. Major assembly. The sub-assemblies come together into the finished unit.
  8. Load testing. Covered in the next section.

Testing before shipment

Load testing is carried out at a small load, not at the design load: the purpose of this stage is to check the assembled unit in operation, not to confirm rated throughput on a stand.

We also have a test bench on which every single unit undergoes commissioning tests before shipment. The bench can test equipment both with and without a sensor, and all control units are tested on it as well.

Development of control devices

We are continuously developing new control devices on modern hardware — both frequency-converter based and microchip based. This work runs continuously rather than order by order.

Documents supplied with the equipment

No separate certificate is required to produce this type of equipment. Each unit ships with a product data sheet and the usual equipment documentation — it is the data sheet that records the factory data for the specific unit and the warranty terms. What the shipping set contains is described on the delivery page, and warranty obligations on the warranty page.
